In the presentation, I will talk about the role of genetics in driving the growth of the Vertical farming industry. I will share the tools and capabilities we have in the company and our breeding approaches that will help accelerate the innovations in genetics that will be specific for the vertical farming industry. I will also emphasize the importance of collaboration to drive innovation in this area.
About VK Kishore
Dr. Kishore has 20 yrs of experience in research and product development in vegetables and row crops across Americas, Asia, Europe, Middle-East and Africa. He has successfully inspired and led teams to innovate and create a sustainable competitive advantage for the business during the times of growth, contraction cycles, business turn around and transformation efforts. He has been with Monsanto for the past 7 yrs and is currently the Solanaceous Breeding Lead for Europe, Middle East and Africa. He is also a Science Fellow at Monsanto.
