Technology in a Vertical Farm/BrightBox – Presented by Peter Korsten, Botany B.V. at the Vertical Farming Conference which takes place on June 28, 2017, at Villa Flora, Venlo, The Netherlands.
The BrightBox is a research facility specialized on testing out different technical and practical applications surrounding vertical farming. The facility was designed and developed with four partners: Botany BV, Philips, HAS University for Applied Sciences and Province Limburg. This presentation will give quick glimpse inside a real-world vertical farm facility, where we explain all the ins-and-outs surrounding light, climate, nutrition solution and crop growth.

Peter is one of the founding partners of Botany B.V. which started out in 2003 as a horticulture research facility. Together with a dedicated team has Botany accumulated years of expertise in product development for the agriculture. Botany was among the first pioneers in vertical farming in the Netherlands.
